Rob Vacko is the Executive Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer at Novare Group. Mr. Vacko’s responsibilities include managing the accounting operations for the firm. Mr. Vacko joined Novare in 2024 and brought with him 25 years of residential and commercial real estate experience with specialization in construction, development, property management, accounting, and finance.
Prior to joining Novare Group, Mr. Vacko served as CFO of SG Property Services, a leading medical office, real estate investment firm. He also served stints in VP Finance roles at both Ashton Woods and Toll Brothers – two national homebuilding companies.
Prior to his time in homebuilding, Mr. Vacko served as Finance & Operations Manager for Walton Development & Management (USA), Inc. His responsibilities included assisting the Southeast region in the entitlement process for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in the Southern U.S., including new master plan communities and existing developments.
Between 2007 and 2013, Mr. Vacko served dual roles in two closely held, affiliated companies. He served as Chief Operating Officer and President of Executive Asset Management (“EAM”). EAM is a distressed asset real estate liquidation firm and had disposed of over 25,000 real estate assets with a value in excess of $2.5 billion. EAM’s clients included regional banks, hedge funds, and private investors with extensive real estate holdings. During this time period, Mr. Vacko also served as Chief Financial Officer of Chatham Holdings. Chatham Holdings is a 75-year-old, privately held family corporation that has developed over 200 neighborhoods and 5,500 homes on the north side of Atlanta since its founding.
Mr. Vacko holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and has an MBA in Finance from Emory University in Atlanta.
