Novare Group is a leading developer of innovative mixed-use communities in the Sunbelt region. The company has overseen the development of nearly 20,000 residential units in 65 projects since its founding by Jim Borders in 1992. In 2002, the company delivered its first high-rise development, Metropolis, which has been widely credited with sparking residential demand that helped transform Midtown Atlanta into the vibrant neighborhood that it is today. The Company has continued to focus its activity on high-rise mixed-use communities and has built eighteen SkyHouse® branded communities, a rapid build efficient high-rise concept that was a result of prior experience and observations in development and construction. In 2017, Novare Group began executing on suburban garden style and town center developments, some with other development firms in its Novare Development Resources division, and some with its internal development teams. Since 2013 alone, Novare Group has developed $2.8 billion of multifamily rental communities in markets such as Alexandria, VA; Athens, GA; Atlanta, GA; Augusta, GA; Austin, TX; Birmingham, AL; Charlotte, NC; Chattanooga, TN; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Frisco, TX; Houston, TX; Huntsville, AL; Lawrenceville, GA; Nashville, TN; Newnan, GA; Orlando, FL; Raleigh, NC; Savannah, GA; Tallahassee, FL and Tampa, FL.

Lullwater at Blair Stone

Tallahassee, FL

Lullwater at Blair Stone is a luxury apartment development located in Tallahassee, Florida near the intersection of Blair Stone Road and Capital Circle SE. The 244-unit, garden apartment development will be located in an optimal area of Tallahassee, in close proximity to the recently relocated Florida Department of Revenue, Department of Health, and adjacent to the vibrant Southwood residential community. Novare Development Resources is co-developing the project with Macon-based Fickling and Company, a full service real estate company, with decades of expertise in the garden apartment development. Lullwater at Blair Stone allows the developers to leverage Fickling’s development and market knowledge with Novare Development Resources’ capital relationships, legal expertise, and accounting team to efficiently execute on all aspects of the development.

Cameron Square

Alexandria, VA

Novare Development Resources partnered with Preferred Apartment Communities and Atlanta-based developer Nixon Jefferson to develop Cameron Park, a transit-oriented apartment development consisting of 302 apartment homes and over 20,000 square-feet of street-level retail. Cameron Park Apartments, currently under construction, will be situated in the West End of Alexandria, walkable to the Van Dorn Metro Station, providing easy access to Washington, DC and other regional employment hubs. Novare Development Resources provided institutional-level expertise in managing the closing of a financially and legally complex transaction and will manage construction and development of the project with Nixon Jefferson and Preferred Apartment Communities.
