Mac Sanders is the Chief Investment Officer at Novare Group. In this role, Mr. Sanders oversees the firm’s investment activities and plays a key role in investment decision-making across the company’s platform. He leads the firm’s capital markets functions, including the capitalization, refinancing and disposition of projects across Novare’s portfolio, and partners with senior leadership to evaluate and source new development and investment opportunities. Mr. Sanders works closely with the development and asset management teams to refine business plans and drive investment performance from inception through disposition. He also sources new capital relationships and manages and cultivates existing relationships with lenders and equity partners.
Since joining Novare Group in 2018, Mr. Sanders has been involved in the capitalization of over 5,000 multifamily units with total project costs exceeding $1.1 billion and the disposition of more than 5,500 units with an aggregate value of over $1.4 billion.
Prior to joining Novare Group, Mr. Sanders was with Croft & Bender, an Atlanta-based investment bank and private equity firm, where he worked on a variety of mergers and acquisitions and capital raises across multiple industries. Mr. Sanders received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia.
